Remind messages aren’t spam, but that hasn’t helped us resolve the issue with Rogers. Their fee increases our cost of supporting SMS in Canada to at least 25X our current cost—forcing us to end Remind text messaging for everyone on the Rogers network. How to continue receiving messages on RemindIf you have a wireless plan with an unsupported carrier and currently only receive Remind messages by text, you can avoid disrupting your Remind service by enabling notifications on your smartphone or computer. If your Remind class participants receive text messages on an unsupported wireless network, make sure they don’t miss any of your messages by asking them to enable notifications with one of the options below. On your phone: Turn on smartphone app notifications (RECOMMENDED)Download the free Remind app on the iOS App Store, on Google Play, or at rmd.me/a. If you don’t already have a Remind account, create one using the phone number where you receive Remind texts. Make sure to enable push notifications from Remind on your phone. On your computer: Turn on email notifications or log in to your account onlineGo to Remind.com on any computer. As above, if you don’t already have a Remind account, create one using the phone number where you receive Remind texts.
